Our Story

PlainMountain Bloom Lab began as a community studio testing how small changes in pressure, paper type, and airflow shape the quality of pressed botanicals. We turned our iterative process into a workshop that helps learners move from unpredictable results to archival pieces ready for gifting, framing, or cataloging in a home herbarium.

We’re driven by a simple idea: craft improves fastest when you measure what matters. That’s why our lessons pair creative exploration with practical metrics—drying time, moisture loss, and colorfastness—to help you work smarter each session.

Mission

Make flower pressing accessible, repeatable, and delightfully modern through structured modules and supportive coaching.

Method

Evidence-based craft: short demos, precise checklists, and templates for planning, tracking, and archiving.

Values

  • Clarity over complexity
  • Respect for materials
  • Kind, actionable feedback
